CA Marine ID Classes with REEF.org's Janna & Ellie

ABOUT THIS CLASS

REEF.org has been engaging citizen scientists all over the globe to monitor fish and invertebrate populations for years, and now is your chance to get involved and dive with purpose!

Saturday, Sept. 28: California marine life ID classes held at Blue Endeavors Dive Shop in Alameda. Complimentary breakfast and lunch provided.

9am - noon: California Fish ID class

1pm - 4pm: California Invertebrates/Algae ID class

This class will prepare us for the survey dive on the following Sunday. This is a survey of common fish and invertebrates from our Central Pacific region and submitting the data for researchers and scientists to evaluate. No previous experience is required, and you will be briefed and equipped prior to the dive with the knowledge necessary.
