Going underwater is awesome. Going underwater and inside of something is super awesome. Besides being an amazing adventure many of our scientific and research dives will require advanced diving technologies such as managing an overhead environment, in other words, something over your head besides the surface. Above water Mission: UN SDS Game Role playing
Are you a member of parliament or a regional dictator? Put on your world leader hat with this experiential role-playing game. Blue Endeavors hosts these one-of-a-kind team building exercises that assist you and your colleagues in understanding the complexities, challenges and opportunities facing world leaders, communities, and individuals, as we balance global needs from, welfare, to environmental concerns, infrastructure, and global market growth. Participants leave this experience moved, excited, sometimes fearful, but moreover, feeling reinvigorated and reaffirmed in our social and global responsibilities as humans. It's that big.
In our direct support of the citizen science group Reef.org, BE sponsors Reef survey dives on a regular basis. Divers participating in the Reef survey dives do not need any specialized certification and may directly contribute to marine environment survey results and species counts on their very first dive. Take a fun day at the beach, add some survey and citizen science, and now you are diving with a purpose. Space is limited; sign up is on a first come first serve basis.
Technical Diver, Fin Work
As your adventure unfolds, and your diving becomes more technical, mastering your finning technique may be easy to forget. The safest, best divers know that keeping your skills sharp is crucial. Come join us for a stress free no pressure underwater workshop to ensure you can kick through a survey site, a wreck, or while running line, without being that diver that ruined the vis…you know the one we’re talking about!
Mastering the SMB
We’ve been there, we’ve all done it, but are you positive that in a crucial or stressful situation you are confident and proficient at it? The safest, best divers know that keeping your skills sharp is crucial. Come join us for a stress free no pressure underwater workshop to ensure you can safely launch your SMB the next time your adventure lands you out to sea!
Urchin overpopulation is devastating our natural kelp forests and with your help we can make a real impact on their resurgence. Whether you are just up for some good ‘ol Kelp Reforestation, or need to get out some surface side frustrations, grab a hammer and cull some urchins the right way with BE.
Beach Clean-up dive
Hit the beach with BE, underwater or above, we know somebody has to clean this up. So, let’s do it! This mission dive is our ongoing effort to clean up the ocean and our beaches and have a real impact in our local communities. Space is limited; sign up is on a first come first serve basis.
Our BE and Reef Check [SD1] certified divers are crucial to the monitoring and maintenance of our healthy reef systems and their inhabitants. Become a member of our team of citizen scientists and help save a species with the power of the scientific survey. Space is limited; sign up is on a first come first serve basis.
Collection of large data sets are key to advancing ocean conservation and marine species rehabilitation. In partnership with InSoFar Ocean, you can join a Blue Endeavors Mission Dive to execute the installation of an oceanic data monitoring buoy that ties into a world-wide web of data collection and the BE Data Project.
